A global medical device manufacturer acquired a robotics company for $95M to strengthen its innovation pipeline and expand market reach. While the acquisition created significant opportunity, it also posed immediate challenges: ensuring a smooth transition, aligning leaders around a shared vision, and establishing the structures necessary for long-term value creation. The client needed a strategic partner to stand up an Integration Program Office, shape the roadmap, and execute early communications and change enablement.

Our Solution

BizLove partnered with the client upon the letter of intent to acquire and through the  first year of integration. Our team supported leadership in designing and standing up the Integration Program Office to ensure leadership alignment and execution of high-priority items, while simultaneously developing a unifying acquisition master narrative to guide both internal and external communications. We facilitated a multi-day integration kickoff workshop with top leaders to provide the clarity and shared vision needed to mobilize their teams and commit to integration activities. Over the course of the first year of integration we advised leaders on integration activities and tensions they faced, delivering a robust change enablement plan for each major transition. We also supported with transformation communications including newsletters, intranet platforms, and tailored messaging strategies to engage global stakeholders across regions. We facilitated people-related discussions including retention and compensation packages and transition strategies. Together, these efforts ensured the program maintained momentum following closing, drove cultural and strategic alignment, and created the structures required for long-term value realization.
